Research and Audit

The Hampshire Foot and Ankle Clinic regularly assesses patients through questionnaires and clinical assessments before and after treatment. This constant auditing of our results is a vital key to ensure the highest of standards are maintained for our patients. A dedicated research physiotherapist is employed to coordinate audits and research projects.

The Hampshire Foot and Ankle Clinic is actively involved in several research studies based both in Hampshire and in London. We remain committed to being at the forefront of improving surgical techniques. Examples of such studies include the long-term follow-up of total ankle replacement surgery, the new techniques for the treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures and new methods for post-operative analgesia. Patients are occasionally contacted to assist with follow-up studies and audits and their participation is invaluable to ensure best-practice is maintained. If you require any further information regarding ongoing projects please do not hesitate to contact us.
